So today I would like to share with you one special  goan sweet dish.which is often made by the Christians during Christmas and hindus as a tea time snack.




Ingredients

  • 2 cups boiled rice 
  • 1 coconut  
  • 2 cups  coconut  jaggery 


Method
  • Clean the rice properly (wash and dry the rice)
  • In a pan, roast the rice till it turns lightly brown. shake and stir to make sure it does not burn or it will turn bitter and keep it aside to cool.
  • Once it is cool, grind it into fine powder.
  • Now  grate the jaggery
  •  Then grind coconut and jaggery together in a mixer or with a grinding stone and add rice flour to form a dough. Transfer this dough to a bowl. 
  • Take small portion of this dough and roll into balls or small cylindrical shape .
  • Place them in a plate 
  • Leave to dry for a couple of hours or set untill firm at room temperature. 
  • Now ready to serve
